Jury selected winning miniatures

Today, in the area of ​​the National Parliament of Serbia was organized jury panel that reviewed and awarded the winning artisans within 5th \\\'100 women - 100 miniatures\\\', which was organized with the institutional cooperation Ethno Network and the National Parliament of Serbia, with the support of NALED and responsible member companies - CRH, Eurobank and Telekom Serbia.

The panel of jurors was composed as follows:

1. Leonora Vekic, assistant professor at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade,
2. Sofija Arsic, a qualified specialist assistant of Ethno Network,
3. Sasa Sreckovic, an ethnologist and museum consultant of the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade,
4. Vladimir Marinkovic, the National Parliament of Serbia,

5. Zlatko Cvetković, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade.

The judges had an extremely difficult task, from a total of 95 selected miniatures, which are original work of women from all over Serbia and Croatian, to choose the best in 5 categories, which this year will be awarded.

In the category of embroidery/ gold embroidery the best evaluated was miniature of Slavica Vasović from Sombor. In the category of weaving the best rated miniature is also work of Slavica Vasović from Sombor. The best rated of category felting/pottery is miniature of Verica Avlijaš from Belgrade, while the best rated for category lace making is miniature of Marina Trifunovic from Pancevo. Best young author of the exhibition is Slobodan Mitrovic from Bela Palanka.

The award ceremony will be held on Friday May 12th in the hall of the National Parliament of Serbia. For all the best rated authors there are provided valuable prizes through sponsorship of socially responsible companies that have recognized the importance of this initiative (CRH, Eurobank and Telekom Serbia). The exhibition will be open until Friday May 19th.
