Round table - Peer violence

The panel discussion on peer violence was held at CEZAM, organized by Ethno Network within the project supported by the cabinet of the minister without portfolio in charge of gender equality, prevention of violence against women and economic and political empowerment of women. 

The event discussed the importance of empathy, mutual understanding and the role of traditional handicrafts in strengthening connections among young people.

The opening speeches were given by:

Milica Pejović Milovančević, child psychiatrist and acting director of the Institute of Mental Health

Snežana Jovanović, project manager of the Ethno Network

The panel discussion "Weaving Trust" included:

Milica Pejović Milovančević and Jelena Radosavljev Kirćanski, psychologist

During the discussion, it was emphasized that the prevention of peer violence begins with understanding, patience and "weaving trust" that strengthens the sense of belonging to the community.
