Rise of Creative Industries in Serbia and the EU

On the occasion of Europe Day, FEFA organized 11th conference dedicated to the development of creative industries in Serbia. The event was hosted by the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall.

Introductory speeches were given by prof. Dr. Goran Pitic, professor at the Faculty FEFA and Frank Hannigan, EBRD Team Coordinator for the creative industries, while a panel discussion on the importance of creative industries led by prof. Dr. Ana Trbović, a professor with the Faculty FEFA. The panel included the following speakers: prof. Dr. Srdjan Krco, FEFA, Danube SEENet, doc. Bojana Maljević, FEFA, Dušan Kovačević, EXIT, Aja Jung, Belgrade dancing festival, mr Marko Lukovic, FormArt. Violeta Jovanović took part as a representative of Ethno Network and talked about the importance of support for the development of the creative potential of rural women whose engagement helps to preserve the traditional heritage of our country.

The conclusions from the meeting were presented prof. Dr. Nebojsa Savic, Dean of the Faculty FEFA and Ivan Tasovac, director of the Belgrade Philharmonic who expressed willingness to concretely support further development of creative industries in Serbia.
