„Application of hand-made filet lace“

In the framework of the project implemented by Ethno Network in collaboration with the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, on Sunday 28 December 2014, Ethno Network held a seminar on \\\'Modern application of hand-made filet lace\\\'. Participants of the seminar included students of the FPU and members of Ethno Network that are interested in this technique.

At the beginning of the seminar, attendees were greeted by Iva Radic, manager of Ethno Network who presented a brief agenda and objectives of the seminar. Then Leonora Vekic, a lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Arts, gave the opening lecture on the history of lace and lace application in a modern environment as an essential fashion accessory or an element in modern interior decoration.

Danijela Arađanski, a licensed educator of Ethno Network proceeded to demonstrate the creation and filling of filet-lace frame, and then helped participants to independently form a network and are interested in this demanding technique.
