Jury decided about the best miniatures

Belgrade, November 26 – Meeting of the jury within the traditional exhibition of handicrafts by Ethno Network – „100 women – 100 miniatures“, was held today in the premises of Ethnographic Museum. Members of the jury – Danijelka Radovanovic (Ethnographic Museum), Leonora Vekic i Zlatko Cvetkovic (Faculty of Applied Arts), Danica Djokic (Museum in Pozarevac), Rajka Jovanovic (Ethno Network’s experts associate), Neda Kovacevic (Privredna banka Beograd), Zorica Jovanovic and Evica Djuric (the last year’s winners), were deciding about the best works.

It was a tough competition and the winners – by categories – for the year 2012 are: pottery – Lidija Janjic from Negotin, embroidery – Olga Zivadinovic from Boljevac, felting – Tanja Pejic from Bela Palanka, weaving – Zora Mitic from Niska Banja, and crochet/fillet-lace – Biljana Zivkovic from Bela Palanka. In the category of young authors – the best was Svetlana Sovljanski from Indjija.

Privredna banka Beograd, partner of this year’s exhibition of miniatures, has prepared valuable prizes for the best authors.
