Exhibition at the Days of Serbia in Paris

The manifestation \\\'Days of Serbia in Paris\\\' from December 14 through 18, 2007, organized by the Ministry of Economy, agency SIEPA and Paris Chamber of Commerce, was open by the Minister Dinkic, who stated on the occasion the importance of enhanced economic cooperation between Serbia and France. The official opening was attended by the Serbian ambassador in France, Mr. Predrag Simic, state secretary in MERR, Ms. Jasna Matic, SIEPA director, Vesna Peric, TOS director, Gordana Plamenac, as well as many representatives of SIEPA and Serbian Diaspora community.

The aim of the organizer, as stated in the press release, was to introduce Parisians to the traditional Serbian food and traditional exhibition material, that is handicrafts. Conceptually, the exhibition prepared in the magnificent space of the Chamber of Commerce included an exhibition of photographs of well-known Serbs, sights and tourist locations, paintings and books that were displayed on specially prepared and lighted white panels. However, the exhibition of ethno food and crafts was located in the so-called ethno cupboards that SIEPA ordered for this occasion.

The exposition of Ethno Network which was adapted to the space within the cupboard and thanks to the packaging and certificates that were translated into French for the occasion, produced effects beyond expectations. We extend sincere gratitude to the Serbian Ministry of Diaspora that secured funding for Ethno Network participation at this event.
