Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall delighted with handicrafts

During the visit of British royal couple to Novi Sad, Ethno Network presented the exhibition of traditional handicrafts, made by unemployed women through the program of public works organized by Ethno Network and supported by NALED. Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall were particularly impressed with the products made of felt wool, Pirot and Stapar rugs, which was registered in the National list of intangible cultural heritage this year, thus being saved from oblivion by efforts of the City of Sombor, local crafts association „Staparke“ and NALED, with strong support of the Ambassador of Australia Julia Feeney.

The royal couple also shared their impressions on Twitter.
