Public works continued

The second meeting in the framework of public works projects implemented by NALED and the Ethno network was attended by representatives of all ten associations involved in this project. Members of Ethno Network successfully completed assignments in the first month of the project, including innovations in design and motifs prepared by the organization’s associates and designers.

To the surprise of employed women, this meeting was attended by Sasa Sreckovic from the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade, and Sanjeev Shankar, a designer from India, who wanted to get familiar with the activities of Ethno Network within Public Works and shared some of their thoughts on improving the design and use of traditional motifs in a contemporary interior. The next meeting is scheduled for mid-November when the women employed through public works will be given tasks for the final month of production.
