Mission of Ethno Network is to teach young people about traditional Serbian culture, and to let young people try out in old crafts. This way it is support for the development of the creative economy and preserving cultural heritage, and young people are returning to their roots. The project is a part of joint efforts of public and non-governmental sector to train young people to actively and wisely spend their free time, and by mastering the crafts they can create original products, earn their pocket money or make the base for future job.

Members of Ethno Network hope that this successful cooperation will continue and that the other schools and state institutions will join the action, therefore higher number of students will have the opportunity to express their creativity by learning traditional techniques of old crafts – embroidery, gold embroidery, weaving, fillet-lace or knitting. Presentations and trainings in these traditional crafts are taking place daily at the Educational centre of Ethno Network, in Brankova street.
